Some of our favorite memories are made in our classrooms with World Missions Outreach students. Mentoring, learning, growing, and laughing does not require you to have a fancy space, the latest technology, or current trends. Your environment doesn’t have to be aesthetically perfect to make the most of every opportunity. Self-sustainable education is a fundamental part of our students education here in #Nicaragua. Our 7th graders turned old cans and recycled materials into reu

Meet Oscar He is a fine young man who is married and has a young daughter. They live in La Chureca - A landfilled dump that people live in the middle of. It's inhabitants shift through the trash to find anything to use, eat or recycle. This is the only way they know how to survive. National Geographic has labeled La Chureca as one of the seven most horrendous places in the world. Despite the limitations that he faces on a daily basis, he has been teaching himself english with
My father is a Pastor, his father was before and my father's father before him. I can tell you a Pastor's love for his people is one of the most beautiful things that can be witnessed. Many women become so consumed with whats popular or trendy, that they don't even know who they are anymore. It's not all our fault. The pressures we put on ourselves as women today, have failed us as a whole.
For the first time in history, we are a generation that can do anything! Literally anything! We so often become consumed or obsessed with a certain coveted position in society; that we forget our own identity in the process. Real talks, it's time to turn off the nonse
Do you remember Cristina? I first met this sweet little girl at a World Missions Outreach Feeding program she was wrapped around her mothers side, sobbing quietly. All the other children were playing & singing, but not Cristina. As each team member took turns speaking to the children, I couldn't take my eyes off of this little girl who's spirit seemed to be completely broken. I was compelled to know her story! I was so caught up in sensing her pain that I missed my cue when t
