61,000 iFeed bags for Nicaragua in 1 Day

iFeed is a one-day event where over 50,000 dried meals are packed and boxed to send to World Missions Outreach in Nicaragua. This past Saturday, our Wisconsin team from La Crosse packed 61,000 bags of food and collected hundreds and hundreds of cans for local food pantries. Olivia Severson was inspired by the Church's trip to Nicaragua and WMO. She worked with the local rotary clubs and the Interact (high school rotary) clubs at other schools to do a food bag packing event. T

What being a Proverbs 31 Woman really means

Many women become so consumed with whats popular or trendy, that they don't even know who they are anymore. It's not all our fault. The pressures we put on ourselves as women today, have failed us as a whole. For the first time in history, we are a generation that can do anything! Literally anything! We so often become consumed or obsessed with a certain coveted position in society; that we forget our own identity in the process. Real talks, it's time to turn off the nonse

Vertical Life Church Youth Pastor speaks at WMO School Chapel

Day 1 of Chapel Vertical Life Church's Youth Pastor David, gave a message to WMO Students at chapel each morning. David described his experience at chapel with us, "Over the course of four days, through the aid of the Holy Spirit, I demonstrated to the students the whole gospel from total depravity to sanctification. This was in hopes that those who were not a Christian would be given a new heart by God, and those that were already Christians would have a better understanding

Vertical Life Church & All for his Glory Day 4 Program 4

Vertical Life Church & All For His Glory's Mission Teams spend the 1st part of their 4th day in Nicaragua at La Chureca. La Chureca is a garbage dump that hundreds of families call home. La Chureca was named one of the '7 Horrors of the World' and if that is not a detailed enough description, one might say it truly looks like the mouth of hell. This is a place where only vultures should inhabit. Every time I visit La Chureca, it is hard for me to write about. Why? Well, becau

Vertical Life Church Mission Team Day 2

Vertical Life Mission Team spend the day at Pastor Douglas's Church in Samaria, one of WMO's 80 church programs. Atlanta's Pastor Brad, gave today's sermon. What we learned- Jesus's name means - Yahweh Saves The Great 'I Am' is used 7 special ways. 1. I Am the bread of life - spiritual bread for the spiritually hungry. 2. I Am the light of the world. You will never walk in the dark without God going before you to light the next step. 3. I Am the door of the sheep - (pasture

    Jimmy has a Purpose

Our Mission Team that is in from Atlanta, Vertical Life Church, helped make Jimmy's day at the port perfect! It has been several months since Jimmy's last surgery. Last time I was visiting, I told Jimmy we wanted to do something special just for him, an outing! I told him he could go anywhere he wanted to go.... He chose the port in Managua. We stopped by his house to pick him, his mom and one of his sisters up. Our team from Vertical Life Church got to meet Jimmy and his ent
