Vertical Life Church & All For his Glory Mission Team served meals, gave out hygiene kits, washed feet and gave away new shoes to one of World Missions Outreach's 80 Feeding Programs in Loc Cedros, Nicaragua
Each team member had the opportunity to speak and mentor with the kids.
The Mission Team truly acted as the hands and feet of Christ by sharing the love of Jesus.
The kids prepared songs to sing for us!
Everyone got involved with the singing and fun dances that go along with each song!
This is the Feeding Programs Kitchen. It is located outside of the church and under a small metal covering!
The team stood on a dirt floor with no roof, held a metal ladle spoon to serve rice out of a bowl over an open flame beside a barbwire fence in 95+ degree weather. Why... Because this is what they call their kitchen. The smoke burns and stings your eyes to tears and the open flame makes the already intense heat feel like your skin is melting. This was extremely hard to get through for me, but for most Nicaraguans this is a daily occurrence. Talk about perspective.
The team served each child a hot meal. World Missions provide 15,000 children with a hot meal daily.
The team served the kids by washing their feet and giving them each a new pair of shoes and hygiene kit.
After, the team played games with the kids!
