World Missions Outreach Delivers over 1,000 Wheelchairs, Walkers & Medical Equipment to Via Carm

World Missions Outreach Delivers over 1,000 Wheelchairs, Walkers & Medical Equipment to Via Carmon Health Department & Hospital.

These rural communities in Nicaragua do not have easy or affordable access to medical supplies such as, wheelchairs, walkers, handicap bathroom assistance and other common medical supply needs.

World Missions Outreach delivered all of the donated medical items to the community leaders, where they will be able to place each item with an individual who needs it.

While WMO was delivering these items, we met a man named Don and his son. He had a botched surgery on his leg. The metal pin that was surgically put in his leg to help his original injury, now protrudes through his skin and is visibly exposed. Don told us that he has lived like this for years. He has no wheelchair or crutches to assist him through the pain of walking. He said that each day was a challenge just to get out of bed. Despite his surgery gone wrong, he still gets up every morning, walks and does whatever he can to find work so he can provide for his family.

We were able to bless Don with his own crutches.
