Feeding Program
World Missions Outreach is now feeding over 15,000 children a day! And that number is still growing. Our feeding program has been in place for six years, but since partnering with our good friend Perry Brown of Samaritan's International, our feeding program has just exploded! The usual meal that we provide consists of rice, beans, and sometimes a portion of meat. We also provide a food called "VitaMeal" which contains all of the daily vitamins a child needs. We are in the process now of starting Bible Study Programs at each feeding site. Our primary goal is to feed the soul, but with your help we can also feed the body. It is hard to tell people about a loving God when their children are going to bed hungry. Thank you for your prayers and support. In order to make this program run efficiently, we need the cooperation of local churches. Food is delivered to the churches once a week. The people who attend the church prepare and serve the meals. But even more importantly, during the feeding time, an effort is made to teach the children from the Bible.
Food is shipped from the United States in containers. For each container, in addition to the cost of the food, the shipping charges are close to $5,000!
